2012-11-26 Regular Online Class – Tina Frauberger 1921 Study Continues

This Monday we will study two more motifs from the 1921 book by Tina Frauberger, numbers 48 and 49.  The models were tatted by Terry Nimmer, and diagramming is by Jane Eborall.

Please study Terry Nimmer’s unique alternative carefully. This design presents great difficulty in tatting it without cutting the thread.  These are illustrations from the original publication:

  2. Hi Sarah,

Thank you for your comment on the homework site, requesting information on joining the classes.

We have 3 free online classes, the Beginner, the Regular, and Tatting Designers (for those wanting to learn to create their own patterns, and illustrate them.)

To join any of them, you need to email our main class instructor, Georgia Seitz. Her address is aktatter@aol.com

Here is the page with information about the Beginner Class (all may be joined in the same manner).

Each class is a lot of fun, and includes new patterns, tutorials, links, etc, in addition to a great time with tatters from all over the world!

I hope you decide to join one or more of the classes.
