Necklace pattern

Additional Note on pattern:

For those working the necklace there is a typo.

As to ring 42 should be joined to 40 and ring 43 to ring 42, it IS a typo. Please make corrections on your printed pattern.

Further note on working the pattern. Find Ring 44 which is a split ring in green color.

After SR44 we just
– pick up the first shuttle (the shuttle you tat all the regular = red color rings with) and – tat rings 45 and 46,
– then reverse work,
– place thread from second shuttle on your left hand and  – tat chain 47.

Images below are provided separately for you to print and add notes during class if you desire:

Pendant part of Necklace

Pendant part of Necklace – some of the other threads we were testing – Hy-Mark Glace plus the DMC (or Oren Bayan) 3-ply thread Nina uses for much of her beaded tatting

In the First scan below(large rings only) is the FIRST set of 5 large rings in the center portion of the necklace.
Second scan with all the rings completed is the center portion of the necklace with the 4 smaller rings added.
Necklace center rings completedNecklace center large rings only
Notice how both threads end up on the same side of the center portion of the necklace 😉  After the 4 smaller rings are completed, you are ready to start the chain.  It is hard to see which shuttle is which, but you do the chain coming OUT of the center of the necklace with the SAME shuttle you used on the chain going INTO the center of the necklace.
