She used 4 mm seed beads and about 7 yards DMC metallic thread (divided evenly between the two shuttles).
She also reports, “The video really helped fill in some details I didn’t read in the blog post. The beads always go onto the core thread. So if I’m flipping stitches, they come from Shuttle 1, and if not flipping, Shuttle 2. Also, she did not reverse work in the first two rounds. So that meant doing the split rings in round 2 with Shuttle 2, not Shuttle 1. By doing these 2 things, I used the 36 beads from each shuttle. ”
