Daffodils, forsythia, magnolias, even the peonies are showing their faces so early! And the National Park Service in Washington, D.C. predicts that the warm winter will bring on the cherry blossom early this year. Cherry Blossoms’ peak bloom (70 percent of the Yoshino cherry blossom trees), the most abundant of the 12 cherry blossom varieties on the National Mall, may fully bloom early, around March 14.
