Cynthia Stevenson, Beginner Class Instructor, has submitted the pattern for the Clever Cluny Loom, designed by Lorraine Eisbrenner Wolak.

Some tatters find it difficult to hold the thread for Cluny tatting wrapped around their hand.  This loom eliminates the “finger wrapping”
Lorraine gave this pattern to “the greater Tatting World” in the late 1990’s, on the condition that it be shared free of charge.

  1. It says this is a pattern for making the loom? I don’t get it. What is it made out of and how to you attach the thread to it? I looked at the file and it just looks like instructions on how to use it and not the pattern.

    • Donna, Click the link at the bottom of the post, then print the last page of the document. That is the pattern. You can cut the loom from either flexible plastic or stiff cardstock.
